Searching auction sites

Ok. Also for this little project I need thing. I only have microcontrollers but no MIDI Sound Module. So, the search begins. Searching on ebay, marktplaats (also from ebay but Dutch and less safe to buy). My eye hit a Roland SC55. An old sound module. Small and pretty good sound so it’s perect for my project.

Pretty right?

Well, it’s a small box and that what I need. Let’s wait and see if i’m able to ‘win’ a device like this for a cheap price.

I ordered an “Arcade RGB CGA to TV and Video Composite converter” from www.arcademvs.com since i learned that it can be used for the commodore 64 to connect it to an LCD monitor using s-video with exclent quality. Today I got an message that it has been shipped.  That was a little quicker that I thought they send it. I still have to get other things of test it.

I’m still learning and searching about all the thing I need to do to get the c64 working on modern hardware so it is possible that I do some stuff which is not working al all.  Lets find out!
