I like music by computer. Like the old commodore 64 SID tunes and Amiga en PC MOD Music. So, why not make a microcontroller controlled MIDI player. Just to start with. Making a player using SID chips or other soundchip it still to difficult for me at the moment.
What will this player do. I will be just an microcontroller like the 16F877 or smaller and reading midi files from a EEPROM or multi media card and send MIDI signals to an MIDI Sound Module like the Roland SC55.
